Bytes Hires a New Technical Support Engineer

Have you heard a new voice on the other end of our support line recently? If so, you’ve been speaking to the latest addition to the Bytes.co Team, Mike Skwar.  Mike joined Bytes.co’s Support Team as a Technical Support Engineer. Hiring Mike was an easy decision based on his relevant work experience, strong worth ethic, and easy-going personality. Before Bytes.co, Mike was working at a local web company where he helped clients make edits to their websites, fixed technical errors and pushed websites live. He also did some freelance application development during December 2018. Mike decided to apply to Bytes.co because he wanted to do more technical work on websites than he had been doing at his previous role. Our Technical Support Engineer position seemed like a great fit and a solid move forward in his career.

Originally from Massachusetts, Mike found himself in Vermont to get his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. After graduation, Mike lived out of his car for about 90 days as he traveled around the U.S. looking for somewhere as cool as Burlington to live. During the trip, Mike broke his ankle and decided to move back to Massachusetts while on the mend. After living in Boston for 3 years, he got bored and decided to move back to Burlington for further schooling in Computer Science. We are very happy that he chose to make the move back!
