What we've done
Think Vermont encourages people who live in other states to consider moving to Vermont to pursue their career aspirations. Because of the size of its cities, Vermont has long operated under the false pretense that job opportunities are scarce to none. While it’s true, the largest city in Vermont is home to only 42,000 people, there are plenty of employers looking to hire highly skilled and hardworking individuals. Vermont has so much to offer in not only overall quality of life but also in employment opportunities.
Think Vermont wanted their users to be able to search for all jobs in the state of Vermont while staying on their website. To make this happen, we built a custom WordPress plugin that presents current, available, Vermont job postings into a single, searchable database on their existing WordPress website. Users are able to search for jobs within the state and apply a variety of filters to refine their job search.
