We’re Excited To Announce The Winner of Our $5,000 Marketing Package Giveaway

We attended the Vermont Chamber of Commerce’s Business and Industry Expo at the Sheraton Burlington Hotel & Conference Center last month and as a highlight to the region’s largest business-to-business trade show, we offered anyone interested, to come visit our exhibitor booth to sign-up for a chance to win a free website and marketing package worth $5,000! All participants that were interested were required to fill out our online form and answer a few basic questions about their business and why they think we should choose them. Our decision would be based upon which business we felt would benefit the needs and potential of the Vermont community and how it would make the most impact.

We were excited to see that quite a lot of businesses had entered our online form. Our next move would be to carefully and thoughtfully sort through all the applications to determine which organization would best fit the criteria that we previously stated. Our team delegated back and forth about which company could use this service to add value to their business. With much deliberation, we chose a winner!

And that winner is…..The Howard Center Of Vermont!

The Howard Center was founded in 1873 and is located on Flynn Avenue, in Burlington. They provide human services to the state, with a mission to improve the well-being of children, adults, families and communities. The Howard Center “offers life-saving professional crisis and counseling services to children and adults; supportive services to individuals with autism and development disabilities who need help with education, employment, and life maintenance skills; counseling and medical services for those struggling with substance abuse, and intensive interventions for adults with serious and persistent mental health challenges.”

The nonprofit organization is the 13th largest employer in the state of Vermont and serves more than 15,000 individuals and families every year. They have a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center on premise, that focuses on substance abuse treatment. This treatment center offers short-term care and other services. The center also has three separate 24 hour, 7 day a week hotline for crises that involve children, families, and alcohol and drug crisis intervention.

The Howard Center is a great community-based organization that does a lot of good for the great state of Vermont and for the people that need their services. It’s organizations like these, that deserve a lot of credit for the exceptional and worthy hard work their staff and volunteer members put in week after week, all year long.

We recently informed the Howard Center that they were the winner of our major prize giveaway, and they we’re very happy to receive our website and marketing package. They plan to use the services to create a WordPress site for their Board of Directors, with hopes that they can inform their clients and others on the roles the directors have within the company.

We are looking forward to working with the Howard Center. They are an organization that we admire and respect and we appreciate all they do for the community.
