Eric Folenta
Support Engineer Team Lead
For over 10 years, Eric has worked in multimedia marketing taking on all sorts of roles varying from running a video production studio, managing/building websites, and maintaining important relationships with businesses both big and small.
During those years he worked closely with Yamaha Corporation of America. He helped Yamaha’s valued piano dealers build and strengthen their online presence by updating their websites and assisting in creating advertising campaigns. It allowed them to stay current and competitive in the ever changing technological world that we know today!
Eric joined the Bytes team in April of 2021 as a Support Engineer II. He works together with the rest of his team to troubleshoot any problems that come up and also helps by offering new ideas and solutions for Bytes clients.
Eric is originally from Southern California, the land of too many freeways, Disneyland and annoyingly good weather. He and his wife recently moved to Rochester, New York a couple of years ago and now have two young boys. When he’s away from the computer screen you can probably find him outside enjoying nature by hitting the hiking trails, enjoying a nice whiskey, dreaming about an epic PC build for gaming or most commonly just spending some quality family time.
Fun Facts About Eric
The place that sticks out to me the most was visiting Switzerland. Years back I went on a river cruise and we ended up in Zurich for 2 days after our trip. The historic architecture and majestic Swiss Alps were absolutely stunning. Lake Lucerne is a beautiful small town at the foothills of the Alps and you can’t leave unless you get an authentic Swiss Army Knife.
Abso-freakin-lutely! The Oatmeal Raisin Cookie is my favorite. It’s also a little known fact that the best Oatmeal Raisin Cookie can be had at Katella Deli in Los Alamitos, CA.
