Position Filled – Website production & support specialist

web developer hired

We’re looking for an individual that’s very familiar with WordPress to join our team and assist us in building and supporting our 70+ clients.  This is essentially two positions rolled into one.  Your primary role will be helping us to complete support tasks for existing clients.  When the support box is empty, we’ll want you to help us to build new sites and implement the marketing campaigns around them.

We’re a pretty chill and open business.  You can expect to learn a lot about our operations and business, we’re not just going to sit you in a corner and expect you to complete tasks.  This position could be part time or full time based on the candidate.  Would be great for a college student or recent graduate. Compensation based on experience.

Our sites are primarily built in WordPress, so we’d want you to be very familiar with navigating the WP backend and how WP sites function.  You should have a good understanding of html/css, but don’t worry about getting too deep into PHP or JS, we’ve got developers for that. Basically, we’re dealing with a pretty constant flow of support requests that are all over the board.  Calendars need updating, products need to be put on sale, email newsletter templates need designing, SSL certificates installed, pdfs uploaded, images resized, etc.    Expect the tasks to be all over the place, this will be a great crash course in online marketing.

We’ll also want you to help with designing new websites for our clients. At this point we’ve got development, copywriting, & SEO all locked down.  Ideal addition would be someone with graphic design and usability skills.    If you can mock up great looking websites in photoshop and translate those changes into html/css,  we’ll probably hire you on the spot.

Interested?  Send a cover letter and resume to [email protected]. Thanks!
