Do you love craft beer? Want to join a great organization and help make the first member-owned Burlington co-op brewpub a reality? That’s the question that The Full Barrel Cooperative wants to know! The Full Barrel Cooperative and Taproom’s aim “is to build support for the establishment of a consumer co-op brewery and pub in Burlington, Vermont.” Inspired in part by the success of Black Star in Austin, TX, they started organizing last year and legally incorporated as a co-op in February this year. Their growing community is currently in the process of recruiting members and volunteers, compiling ideas, holding informational meetings and parties, and of course, brewing and drinking excellent beer!
We are happy to announce that Burlington Bytes will be hosting the Full Barrel Cooperative’s October Homebrew Social next month! Join us in our cellar (literally) on Saturday, October 10th from 4-7pm for FREE homebrewed beer, cider, and awesome edibles. As a bonus, there will also be a raffle for Full Barrel schwag.
We’re very excited to be partnering with Full Barrel and look forward to opening up our space to mingle, drink and talk all things beer! You can find our office at 2 Church St. Suite 101 in the Richardson Place building. It’s located below the Bella Accessories shop at the top of Church Street. We hope you can make it to this exciting event.
