A nonprofit dedicated to supporting all of Vermont’s families and children, particularly those with special health needs.
With the mission to empower and support all Vermont families and children, the Vermont Family Network envisions a world where all Vermont families are able to help their children reach their greatest potential. They advance inclusion among the greater community, supporting children and families where they live and go to school, and continue to dedicate efforts to meet the needs of families all over the state, and beyond.

The Challenge
The Vermont Family Network came to us with the desire to more clearly communicate their mission and purpose through a redesign of their website. In addition to this, the design would also have to be updated to something modern and fresh. Last but not least, one of the biggest priorities was to make the new website accessible for all users – including those living with a disability – by ensuring it met ADA website accessibility standards.
Our Approach
To accomplish this, we built Vermont Family Network a new WordPress website with a clean new design. We also followed WCAG 2.0 Level AA accessibility standards so that all users would be able to utilize Vermont Family Network’s valuable information and resources. In addition, to make the website more easily navigable, we improved their content structure and implemented a clear menu.
