Fun Facts About Scott

Although I originally grew up in Connecticut my family and I frequently visited Vermont in the winter to ski Okemo, Stratton, and Killington. In looking for colleges to attend, Vermont was at the top of my list of places to live. Since renting my first apartment in Burlington in the summer of 2013 after my first year at Champlain College I haven’t looked back. Although skiing is what brought me to Vermont, the people of Vermont and the Vermonter way of life are what have kept me here for what is now over 10 years.

During my third year at Champlain College, I had the opportunity to study abroad and spend four months in Dublin at Champlain College’s Ireland campus. The city of Dublin become a new home for me as I absolutely fell in love with the culture and developed a deeper understanding of my Irish heritage. Though I did spend most of my time in Dublin, I was also able to travel to Belfast, Glasgow, Edinborough, Amsterdam, London, Paris, Barcelona, Dubrovnik, and Munich. Overall, the whole four months abroad was an unforgettable experience and I look back fondly on all of the places I was fortunate enough to visit.

Savory. Hands down. I’d take an extra slice of pizza over something sweet 9 times out of 10. That being said, I’d hardly ever turn down an opportunity to get ice cream.
