NAMI Vermont
What we've done
NAMI Vermont is the Vermont chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness – a nonprofit organization dedicated to mental health education, support, and advocacy. Started in 1983 as a grassroots family movement in Vermont, NAMI Vermont now provides programs, support groups, and resources to individuals and families. Their mission is to help Vermonters affected by mental health challenges build better lives for themselves through proper support and care.
We’re extremely honored to have played a small role in furthering NAMI Vermont’s mission with our website build. This new website had to be easily navigable for a variety of users, including individuals living with mental illness and their families, people looking for educational resources, and those looking to donate or get involved. Another key goal was to give the website a new, modernized design that also met WCAG 2.1 AA Conformance standards.
Keeping these goals in mind, we built NAMI Vermont a new website that provides an improved user experience and is accessible to everyone. In addition, we also added functionality to the website via plugins and integrations, including contact forms, an events calendar, and payment processing capabilities. With this updated design and functionality, users now leave the website with a thorough understanding of NAMI Vermont’s mission, and of the mental health resources available to them.
