UVM Children’s Hospital
The University of Vermont Children’s Hospital works tirelessly to ensure each patient and parent feels taken care of and at ease the moment they walk in.
They wanted a website to reflect their commitment to exceptional childcare, as well as showcase their fun-loving and comforting culture. We were so excited to give them a website that reflects this method of care.

The Challenge
To help portray the essence of the UVM Children’s Hospital, we needed to deliver them a website that easily provided clinical information to their users, but deliver that information in a way that was not clinical.
Our Approach
We implemented a simple navigation, combined the use of videos, imagery, graphics and clear call to action buttons to deliver a fresh and fun website to accomplish their website goals. Beyond building their new website, we work with UVM Children’s Hospital to host and support their site.
Homepage Layout & Design
UVM Children’s Hospital’s homepage is a great example of how to incorporate an organization’s brand and personality throughout the website’s design and content.
- The main menu provides straightforward navigation to the interior pages.
- We broke the homepage up into different content sections, allowing us to feature the staff, news, specialties, and statistics all on the homepage without overwhelming the user.
- The footer offers a variety of links to visit other offices within the UVM Medical Center.
